MLS TOUR GUIDELINES
REVISED AND UPDATED 8/2007
Guidelines
- Each office, with primary EVAR realtors, who choose
to be involved in the EVAR tour, will share Tour Master duties.
- The assignment of Tour Master duties will be
assigned in a 2-month rotation.
- Current Tour Master is responsible for transferring,
to the next assigned office in the rotation, any carry over properties
that have been submitted.
- Tour is every Tuesday beginning at 10:00 am. Agents
meet at first listing and continue from there.
- Tour is limited to 8
properties (6 in the case of
a Sweet-Ola tour).
- Properties must be submitted to Tour Master by
5:00 pm the Thursday prior to tour.
No exceptions. No revised lists. First property must have an actual
address.
- Tour Master to fax the list to all offices by
noon on Friday.
- Listings with co-listing agents must be listed under
both names on the tour list.
- Order of properties on tour list is at the
discretion of the Tour Master.
- Placement on tour list is
on a 1st come 1st serve on all properties.
- Overflows will have 1st
priority to be placed on the following Tuesday tour.
- To be eligible to place a property on tour
AGENTS MUST…
A.
Attend tour the previous week from first property to last property
(excluding OPTIONAL properties);
B.
Present their own listings. Agents must be at least a Co-listing
agent. In the case of a dire emergency, the
broker/manager of the office can substitute for their agent on the tour if
that agent’s property was scheduled for tour. This will be
considered on a case by case situation and determined by the broker/manager
of that office;
C.
Attend tour from first property to last property on the day their
house is on tour (not touring optional listings does not disqualify
agent for next tour);
D.
Attendance will be tracked by agents giving tour master a business
card. Any agent without a business card will be expected to sign in;
E.
Properties must be in Gem County;
F.
Properties must be listed on Paragon system
prior to submission;
G.
Properties are placed on tour list based on when listing is
received. It is the agent’s responsibility to make sure their
listing is delivered to the Tour Master
on time. NO REVISED LISTS!!!!
H.
Have a signed copy of mls tour guidelines.
- MLS Tour Guidelines will be
available on the first page of the EVAR website for public access (www.emmettrealtors.com).
A.
All local brokers and offices are to maintain a signed copy of the
current MLS Tour Guidelines from each agent in their office.
B.
Any agent outside of the local offices will be required to obtain the MLS
Tour Guidelines from our website, sign the MLS Tour Guidelines and submit
this with their property tour request. This form must be submitted with
each tour request.
- Cancellations or corrections to the tour list and
announcements or flyers to be done at 2nd property on tour (if
only 1 on tour then at 1st property).
- Sweet-Ola Tour/Gem County – Priority for the 2nd
and the 4th Tuesday of each month will be for the Sweet-Ola
area. If there are any properties on tour for those areas the tour will
be limited to 6 properties. If there are no properties in the Sweet-Ola
area the tour will be a standard tour.
- Properties in the Emmett area can be added and
toured on the way up to Sweet-Ola at the discretion of the tour
master and time permitting.
- Properties that are eligible for Standard Tour are…
A.
new listings;
B.
listings that have been expired for more than 3 months and are back
on the market;
C.
new construction – agents may choose to have tour at beginning of
construction and then tour at the completion of construction.
- Properties that are eligible for Optional Tour
(properties with same agent or same listing office) are…
A.
major changes to the property;
B.
back on market listings expired less than 3 months;
C.
out of Gem County area;
- No minors are allowed in properties during tour.
- If homes do not allow shoes to be worn in home, it
is the responsibility of the listing agent to provide booties for all
touring agents. Agents will not be required to remove their shoes to tour
home.
- Agents are encouraged to carpool when ever possible.
- Only agents and industry affiliates are authorized
to be on tour. No solicitations are allowed while on tour.
- Agents are encouraged to limit price opinions and
surveys.
